Amidst a mess of medical imposition and mechanical oppression, an expecting mother, Claire, finds herself growing more frightened of her unborn child with every waking moment. With every minor detail of the cold, unfeeling world around her reminding her of the horror of having the unknown growing inside of her – from her gynaecologist to her very surroundings – her anxiety and fears culminate in a harrowing confrontation with another mother in a laundromat, which will destroy both of their lives forever.
